Love Nature Greenlights New Kids in the Wild

Love Nature has commissioned New Kids in the Wild, a series that follows the first crucial months in the lives of five baby animals.

Each episode of New Kids in the Wild delves into the experience of a different animal, from its birth and first fragile steps to its venture out into the world to face formidable challenges. Over the course of the series, it will follow Usana the cheetah cub, Ravi the young lion-tailed macaque, Lyca the wild-dog pup, Chinga the lion cub and Chico the ingenious capuchin.

A Love Nature original commission, New Kids in the Wild is co-produced by Off The Fence and ARTE. Blue Ant International will oversee pre-sales and licensing exclusively in the U.S. and Canada. Shot in UHD, New Kids in the Wild’s crew works closely with world-renowned scientists to capture close-ups of the animals and their families. Additionally, 4K drone shots reveal incredible details and provide an epic view of the distinct wild regions in which they live.

Carlyn Staudt, executive VP of Love Nature, said: “This tender look at baby animals and their families has a universal appeal that is perfect for co-viewing across generations. The intimate stories of nurturing and discovery are set amid awe-inspiring and vibrant surroundings, which, shot in UHD, will bring audiences even closer to the epic natural world that shapes their lives.”
