Lime Pictures Appoints New Head of Production for Unscripted

Lime Pictures has tapped Helen Kruger Bratt for the role of head of production for unscripted, effective this fall.

In her new role, Bratt will oversee production for programs including the BAFTA-winning The Only Way Is Essex, E4’s Celebs Go Dating and MTV’s Geordie Shore, as well as a raft of development projects for both Lime and their labels, including the recently established Wise Owl Films. She will report directly to Joint Managing Directors Kate Little and Claire Poyser and will work closely with Sarah Tyekiff across the portfolio.

Bratt currently serves as executive in charge of production at ITV Studios Entertainment, at which she has most recently delivered titles such as Love Island, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Saturday Night Takeaway. She was instrumental in the rebirth of Love Island for ITV2 in 2015, setting the blueprint for its launch both in the U.K. and on a global scale. Additionally, she leaves ITV Studios with two seasons of Love Island negotiated for 2020.

Bratt is no stranger to managing high-profile flagship entertainment series, with a proven track record in launching large-scale complex reality shows overseas and prime-time entertainment. She has extensive experience across the daytime and lifestyle categories, as well as factual, formats and quiz programs, all of which are relevant to Lime’s recently bolstered development team.
