Simon and Jonathan Chinn’s Lightbox has made a raft of changes to its leadership team amid its continued growth.

Vanessa Tovell, previously chief operating officer, has been named managing director, while Suzanne Lavery has become creative director, overseeing all U.K.-based documentary series. Ben Samuel has also been promoted to creative director, managing the company’s development across the U.K. and U.S. offices.

Polly Allen has been promoted to head of production for the U.K. Gabby Peeters has been upped to VP and head of development for the UK, while Alexis Gomez-Garcia has added head of development for the U.S. to her VP title. Carolyn Sperry Lewis is now Lightbox’s senior VP of production and operations overseeing all areas of the company’s operations in its LA office.

The changes follow the recent commission of Gunpowder Siege, its first scripted series.

Simon and Jonathan Chinn, co-Founders of Lightbox, commented: “Despite the challenging climate facing our industry globally, Lightbox’s senior team has worked hard to navigate these headwinds to develop and produce a wide range of successful, award-winning series and feature documentaries for a growing number of networks and streamers globally, and to diversify into new and exciting areas such as factual drama. These promotions reflect their talent, resourcefulness and creativity and we are incredibly proud to have such a great group of colleagues working with us as we continue to build our business.”
