Keshet Sends Killer Kids Docuseries Down Under

Ahead of its launch at MIPCOM, Keshet International has presold the new true-crime documentary series Jo Frost on Killer Kids to Foxtel in Australia.

Jo Frost on Killer Kids is produced by Woodcut Media for A+E Networks’ Crime + Investigation (C + I) in the U.K., where it will debut this fall. The 4×60-minute show follows the titular host as she searches for the reasons why some children commit murder. Frost (Supernanny), a child behavioral expert, will be attending the market next month to promote the series, which she co-developed and is executive producing.

Jim Buchan, the general manager of factual channels at Foxtel Australia, said: “The question of childhood experiences and associated behavioral effects that can develop towards criminality is always a key concern for parents and society in general. Jo Frost brings a unique ability to show viewers a new perspective on parenting style and behavioral consequences. We’re pleased to be working with Woodcut, C + I U.K. and Keshet International in bringing our audience closer to better answering these questions.”

Frost, CEO of NannyJo Productions, noted: “It’s been an incredible, insightful experience working on this thought-provoking taboo series. Woodcut brought a wealth of true-crime expertise to the table and I’m delighted that it will now be seen in Australia and beyond thanks to Keshet International.”

Keren Shahar, the COO and president of distribution at Keshet International, stated: “We are thrilled to be launching another hard-hitting true-crime series from our partnership with Woodcut Media to the international market. Having Jo on the ground in Cannes is a great asset for us and I have no doubt that buyers from all over the world will be as fascinated by the series as we are.”

Kate Beal, the CEO of Woodcut Media, added: “Jo Frost’s curious and analytical nature, along with her unique take on family interactions, has created some incredibly compelling viewing. We are pleased to see the series find a home on Foxtel and look forward to it traveling further following its MIPCOM launch.”
