JV Productions Appoints New President & EVP

Courtney Campbell has been named president of Toronto’s JV Productions while Kirk Hipkiss becomes executive VP, with both roles effective immediately.

As president, Courtney Campbell is replacing Vyvyan Campbell, who recently retired after founding JV two decades ago. Courtney will lead the further development and growth of the company’s creative and strategic direction. She has been working for JV since it was first set up back in 1997.

“There are so many exciting opportunities out there—whether we’re talking OTT or linear, non-scripted or scripted, regional or global,” said Courtney Campbell. “I want to see JV make the most of all of it.”

Hipkiss, meanwhile, will continue to execute the creative style and vision for the company’s new development and future series. He will also spearhead new scripted opportunities. Since 2000, Hipkiss has served as executive producer, director and editor at JV.
