Justin Bodle’s Purecom Acquires Wildlife Outfit

LONDON: Purecom Entertainment International, the investment group established by Justin Bodle last year, has acquired the wildlife production company NCFWW (Nature Conservation Films Worldwide).

Based in Amsterdam, NCFWW, founded by Hugo van Lawick, has produced titles such as Leopard Son, African Bambi and African King. With the acquisition, Power, which Bodle took back control of last year, takes on the distribution rights to NCFWW’s back catalog, 300-plus hours of HD and 4K footage and upcoming productions. Highlights include the one-hour special Wild Tanzania: River Battlefront.

“Purecom was set up to work with the best the media industry has to offer and we have found this in NCFWW,” said Bodle. “The team are fantastic at giving viewers a look into wildlife like never before and we are excited for what this relationship will bring.”
