Jane Latman Moves Up at Discovery Communications

SILVER SPRING/NEW YORK: Seasoned TV exec Jane Latman has been elevated to executive VP of development and research for Investigation Discovery (ID), Destination America and American Heroes Channel.

In her new role, Latman will continue to work under Henry Schleiff, the group president of ID, American Heroes Channel and Destination America. A 13-year veteran of programming and development at Discovery Communications, she most recently was senior VP of development for ID and general manager for Destination America. Latman will continue to serve in the latter role, for which she oversees the development, production, scheduling, research, marketing, communications and online efforts of the brand.
