ID Lines Up Aaron Hernandez Doc

Investigation Discovery (ID) has set the new documentary Aaron Hernandez and the Untold Murders of Bristol for a January debut, kicking off its Murder Under the Friday Night Lights strand.

Tracing back to the football player’s days at Bristol Central High School in Connecticut, the two-hour doc delves into the intersection of Aaron Hernandez with two of his high school teammates, Alex Ryng and Nicholas Brutcher, who also went on to commit murder.

Aaron Hernandez and the Untold Murders of Bristol premieres on January 8 at 9 p.m. on ID. New episodes of Murder Under the Friday Night Lights air on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. starting January 15.

“In this new documentary spin-off from the team behind ID’s signature series Murder Under the Friday Night Lights, intimate details of Aaron Hernandez’s life are uncovered, featuring exclusive interviews that shed new light on this tragic story,” said ID President Jason Sarlanis. “The investigation reveals the disturbing connections between Hernandez and two other murderers from his high school football team, exposing deeper issues in their upbringing that may have influenced their paths.”
