HISTORY Play Launches in Hungary

A+E Networks EMEA has launched the HISTORY Play streaming service in Hungary.

The SVOD brand, which will be available through RTL Most+, will offer exclusive documentaries and premium factual entertainment. The launch of HISTORY Play in Hungary marks the premiere of the brand in the Central and Eastern European region.

At launch, HISTORY Play in Hungary will feature A+E Networks franchises The Curse of Oak Island, Forged in Fire, Ancient Aliens and The UnXplained with William Shatner and titles from The HISTORY Channel library that includes more than 300 episodes of factual entertainment, docudrama and premium documentaries.

HISTORY Play is already available in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands through various partnerships, including with Amazon Prime and Apple TV+. The streaming service is available in Sweden with Telia.
