Fremantle Names 7Wonder’s Liza Abbott as COO for Unscripted in the U.K.

Fremantle has tapped 7Wonder Productions’ Liza Abbott for the newly created position of chief operating officer for unscripted in the U.K.

Abbott joins Fremantle from 7Wonder, which she co-founded in 2014. Abbott will be responsible for commercial activity, legal and business affairs, digital and production across the U.K. unscripted labels Thames, Talkback, Boundless and Shotglass. She reports to Liam Humphreys, Fremantle’s CEO for the U.K.

Humphreys said: “Liza has a superb track record in establishing the perfect ground conditions for creatives to thrive. I’m delighted that we have been able to attract someone of her commercial and creative caliber to join us as we continue to evolve and grow our U.K. business.”
