Fremantle Bolsters Non-Scripted Team

Fremantle has tapped former Red Arrow Studios International exec Harry Gamsu and all3media international alum Céire Clark for its non-scripted content team.

Gamsu has been named VP of non-scripted content acquisitions. He will be based in Los Angeles and manage the U.S.-based content acquisitions team. Gamsu will be responsible for sourcing new content from across the U.S. and Canada for development and international distribution. Gamsu previously held the position of VP of non-scripted at Red Arrow Studios International and before that was in international distribution and acquisition roles at Warner Bros. International Television Production and Outright Distribution.

Clark has been appointed as senior acquisitions manager, based in London. She will be working with Fremantle’s own creatives and develop further relationships with key independent producers. Along with developing commercial strategies for content, Clark will source new content and work with producers to help them to retain IP and develop international commercial potential. Clark previously worked at all3media international, where she managed non-scripted acquisitions from all3media’s group of 28 production companies. Prior to that, she was part of the acquisitions and programming team at National Geographic Television International.

Both positions will report to Angela Neillis, senior VP of non-scripted content for Fremantle’s distribution business.

Neillis commented: “We’ve spent a lot of time developing our non-scripted pipeline and have been working with a number of really special producers to do that. I’m genuinely thrilled that we have this exciting new senior team in place to further that strategy. With Harry and Céire on the bench, working with such brilliant producers, we know we bring something genuinely new and refreshing to the market.”
