Video Interview: Forrest Galante

Biologist and conservationist Forrest Galante’s love of wildlife and passion for conservation has taken him all over the world, from Zimbabwe to Papua New Guinea to Alaska. Throughout his career, he has hosted a variety of titles, including Animal Planet’s Extinct or Alive, Discovery Channel’s Nature’s Strangest Mysteries: Solved, various Shark Week programs and many more, all with the aim of educating the public.

In late 2021, Galante co-founded Phantasticus Pictures with Hot Snakes Media’s Eric Evangelista to continue educating and inspiring the public through television. Galante also recently launched a channel on YouTube as another avenue for informing the public on conservation, extinction and other issues pertaining to wildlife around the world.

Galante talks to TV Real Weekly about using TV as an educational tool, what Phantasticus Pictures has achieved in the past two years and what viewers can expect on his recently launched YouTube channel.
