Finalists Selected for MIPDoc Project Pitches

The ten finalists for the MIPDoc Project Pitches have been revealed, touching on topics such as space history, climate change, technologies to rediscover the past and shape the future, baby trafficking and domestic labor in Africa.

The MIPDoc Project Pitch “Science & Technology” session will take place on Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. in the Grand Theatre. The projects being pitched are Global Science, 2020: Space Beyond, 7 Wonders: Rebuilding Legendary Monuments, One Giant Leap and Ariane, The Impossible Bet. Jury members hail from Smithsonian Channel, NHK Japan Broadcasting Corp., DocuBay and YLE.

On Sunday, April 7, at 10:15 a.m. in the Grand Theatre is the MIPDoc Project Pitch “Current Affairs & Investigation.” The projects in competition are The Affair Vanessa, The Doubt Makers, The Svalbard Message, House Girls and GENOA 11:36 am The Collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa. Jury members are from SVT, National Geographic, ZDF and DocuBay.
