FilmRise Picks Up Streaming Rights for MythBusters, Deadly Women

FilmRise has acquired select international streaming rights for the science entertainment show MythBusters and the true-crime series Deadly Women from Beyond Distribution.

FilmRise will distribute MythBusters, starring Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, in the U.K. and Australia. MythBusters debuted in North America on Discovery Channel in 2003, running through 2016, with 282 total episodes and eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Deadly Women, which chronicles three murders within each episode that were all committed by women, will be digitally distributed by FilmRise in the U.K. Hosted by FBI Criminal Profiler Candice DeLong and narrated by Lynnanne Zager, the program has become a staple on Investigation Discovery (ID) and has 13 seasons and remains in production.
