Discovery Channel Latin America has picked up the crime doc series Behind Bars: The World’s Toughest Prisons.

The 6×1-hour series will air on Investigation Discovery in nearly 50 countries across the LatAm region and on Discovery en Español in the U.S. Hispanic market. The show, produced by Maximus Film and sold by Quintus Media, immerses viewers into everyday prison life, exploring this world from different angles.
