Daisybeck Studios Wins Second Consecutive TV Choice Award

Lionsgate Alternative Television’s U.K.-based label Daisybeck Studios has earned its second TV Choice Award for the On the Farm franchise.

Paul Stead, creative officer for Daisybeck Studios and executive producer of the show, commented, “We love this particular awards ceremony because it is voted for by the audience, which recognizes the show’s ability to bring country life to millions of viewers across the U.K.”

On the Farm follows the life of the Nicholson family farm in Yorkshire and is hosted by Helen Skelton, Jules Hudson and JB Gill.

The show was up against Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm, the Channel 4 medical docuseries 24 Hours in A&E and ITV’s long-running series For the Love of Dogs.

Stead continued, “As part of Lionsgate Alternative Television, we get the unique opportunity to collaborate with U.S. giants like Pilgrim Media Group, Renegade 83 and Blackfin on fresh concepts and shared development.”
