CuriosityStream Ups Clint Stinchcomb to President, CEO

CuriosityStream has promoted Clint Stinchcomb to president and CEO as part of the global streaming service’s new executive structure.

In his new position, Stinchcomb is responsible for bolstering the success of CuriosityStream, which launched in March 2015. He will work directly under John Hendricks, the company’s founder and executive chairman. Stinchcomb will lead a team that includes Tia Cudahy, COO; Peter North, chief digital advisor; Steve Burns, chief content officer; Colleen Slear, CFO; Adeline Cassin, CMO; Andre Silva, CTO; and Carrie Hurlburt, chief creative officer.

Stinchcomb first joined CuriosityStream last year as chief distribution officer. Earlier in his career, he was CEO and co-founder of Poker Central; managing director of Worldwide Media Group; executive VP and general manager of Discovery’s Emerging Television Networks; and senior VP of Discovery’s New Media Operations and HDTV.

Elizabeth Hendricks North, who oversaw CuriosityStream as president and CEO during its first three years, is now becoming president of Curiosity Studios.
