Curiosity University Launches on Prime Video

Curiosity University, a channel with lectures, documentaries and courses combining academic rigor with storytelling, has launched on Prime Video in the U.S.

The channel features a roster of Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, department chairs from some of the world’s most prestigious universities and many more. Talks available for viewers include The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: Four Surprising New Discoveries, Our Future in Space: Billionaires, Rockets and Gravity, 6 Television Shows That Changed the Rules and Kennedy, Nixon and the Debate of the Century.

In addition to lectures and discussions exploring history, arts, culture, science and well-being, Curiosity University features courses, podcasts, a weekly newsletter and live events sponsored by major organizations such as AARP and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Curiosity University is available on Prime Video as an add-on subscription for $8.95 per month.

Formerly known as One Day University, Curiosity University is also available via a wide variety of partnerships, including Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xumo from Xfinity, Cox Communications’ Contour TV, Xumo TV and Charter Communications’ Spectrum Xumo Streambox. The streaming service was acquired by Curiosity to complement its offering of factual content.
