Cream Productions Prepping Green River Killer Docuseries

Cream Productions is producing Imperfect Witness, a four-part docuseries on serial murderer Gary Ridgway, aka the Green River Killer.

The documentary will be told from the point of view of Rebecca Garde, who was a sex worker at the time she fought off the killer’s attack. Cream Productions is also partnering with investigative journalist Carolyn Ossorio, creator of The Shadow Girls podcast on which the doc is based.

“Rebecca’s account is an unfortunate example of how society marginalizes witnesses and instills fear and doubt in coming forward,” said Kate Harrison Karman, president of Cream Productions. “Through our collaboration with Carolyn, her intrepid team and Rebecca, we hope to promote a broader message of empowerment for victims and witnesses.”

James Farr, VP of development for Cream Productions, added, “In a world where prostituted women are erased, it’s absolutely crucial that we give credence to Rebecca’s story and provide answers to the victims’ families and friends while sparking much-needed change to the systemic mistreatment of sex workers.”
