Cream Productions Adds Two to Creative Team

Cream Productions has expanded its creative team with the appointments of Sahba Li as director of development and Jane Churchill-Smith as development executive.

In her new role, Li will spearhead Cream’s roster of talent-led development projects. With more than a decade of experience, Li’s credits include The Incredible Race (Food Network), Salvage Hunter (Discovery), Confucius Was a Foodie (National Geographic) and Playhouse Masters (TLC).

At Cream, Churchill-Smith will create and develop across the company’s range of genres, from premium documentaries to true-crime programming. She previously served as a researcher for Cream on the History of the Sitcom (CNN) before transitioning to a freelance writing role in development.

Both Li and Churchill-Smith will report directly to James Farr, VP of development.

Farr said: “Both Sahba and Jane are cornerstone additions to our team as we continue to expand our operations and cultivate our robust premium slate. We have no doubt that they’ll elevate our distinctive brand with their innovative spirit and storytelling.”
