Cineflix Lands LatAm Sales

LONDON: Cineflix Rights has closed programming agreements with A&E Latin America, NBC Universo and Televisa.

A&E Latin America picked up the latest additions to Cineflix Rights’ successful Border Security franchise, Border Security: America’s Front Line and Border Security Canada. The series offer viewers a front-row seat to the everyday life of border security officers. NBC Universo inked a deal for the crime show Paradise Lost, which details real-life tales of foreign dreams that became nightmares. Televisa in Mexico acquired all three seasons of Urban Legends, which presents far-fetched stories and asks viewers to guess which are true and which are false.

Chris Bonney, the CEO of rights at Cineflix Media, said: “Latin America and Hispanic North America are turning into ‘emerging markets’ again for distributors due to increased demand for content from new platform launches, and Cineflix Rights is expanding our client base across all platforms and countries. We’re looking forward to strong sales at NATPE Miami as we launch new factual and scripted content and the latest seasons of some of our most celebrated brands.”
