Charlie Luxton Titles Among Passion’s Global Lifestyle Sales

LONDON: Passion Distribution has secured sales for several of its entertainment and lifestyle titles, including two Charlie Luxton series.

In Australia, Foxtel signed on for season three of Charlie Luxton’s Homes By the Sea, which is due to air later this year. The lifestyle channel also picked up the brand-new series Charlie Luxton’s Homes By the Med. In his newest series, which currently airs on More4 in the U.K., Luxton embarks on a mission to find the most spectacular and unusual homes along the Mediterranean coast. Additionally, Foxtel Arts licensed season two of Behind the Story with The Paley Center, which features the creators and stars of popular series, including The Good Wife, Scandal and Girls, at TV’s ultimate fan festival.

Sky Italia, meanwhile, acquired a package of more than 60 hours for its pay-TV and free entertainment channels. The deal includes the new entertainment competition series Skin Wars: Fresh Paint and the third season of Skin Wars. Skin Wars: Fresh Paint is hosted by RuPaul and sees top former contestants from Skin Wars mentor six new artists who are competing in body painting for the first time for the chance to win a $10,000 prize at the end of each show and become a Skin Wars: Fresh Paint Champion. Sky Italia also picked up seasons one and two of Make You Laugh Out Loud and the documentary Rich Kids of Social Media.

Season two of Make You Laugh Out Loud was also sold into Sweden for TV4, while Skin Wars: Fresh Paint and the second season of Skin Wars are headed to True Visions in Thailand. ABS-CBN in the Philippines picked up Rich Kids of Social Media.
