Channel 5 Orders Arrow Media Series Spotlighting Mountains

Channel 5 has commissioned the four-part series The World’s Greatest Mountains from Arrow Media.

Each episode will explore the secrets of four of the world’s most well-known peaks—Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc and Ben Nevis. The series will include accounts from eyewitnesses and experts who will tell a diverse range of stories about each mountain.

Using archive footage and never-before-seen user-generated content, people who have lived, worked on and climbed the mountains offer a fresh perspective on each peak. The first episode, titled “Everest: World’s Greatest Mountain,” will transmit on Tuesday, April 3, at 9 p.m.

We’ll explore their timeless allure, the incredible stories that have happened on their often-treacherous slopes and the wildlife that makes its home on them.”
