Channel 4 Renews The Jury

Channel 4 has ordered another installment of The Jury, following the success of The Jury: Murder Trial.

Produced by ScreenDog Productions, the 4×60-minute second season will again re-create a real case from the original court transcripts in front of two randomly assigned juries. While both juries receive the same information, the show explores whether they will reach the same conclusion.

Ed Kellie, creative director and executive producer for ScreenDog Productions, said: “As a small company that makes big ideas, we are over the moon that The Jury is such smash hit and will be returning for the next series. We’re looking at cases now, and it promises to be another nail biting and twisty path to verdict that also raises genuine questions about how to make our system fairer.”
