Channel 4 Orders Flat Pack Mansions, More Posh Pawn

LONDON: Channel 4 has commissioned Boomerang to produce a fourth season of the reality series Posh Pawn and the new documentary Flat Pack Mansions.

The 12×60-minute fourth season of Posh Pawn will continue to follow Prestige Pawnbroker, it’s expanding reach and the high-end world of pawn brokering. Flat Pack Mansions, meanwhile, is an hour-long documentary that explores the phenomenon of flat pack and prefabricated home kits. The program examines how everyday Brits are coming to own supersized homes.

Jon Lloyd, who serves as executive producer for both series, said: “From luxury penthouses built in a day to mansions perched on previously unbuildable cliff edges, there’s a raft of great characters using this amazing flat pack technology across the U.K. to build their dream homes.”

Anna Miralis, commissioning editor for Channel 4, added: “To see these unique structures going up almost overnight is astonishing and this is a great opportunity to uncover the rapidly growing phenomenon of prefab builds creating affordable yet ambitious homes.”

Twofour Rights is distributing both titles worldwide.
