LONDON: Channel 4 in the U.K. has ordered a second season and a one-off special of the factual series Very British Problems.

Alaska TV will produce the sophomore run’s three hour-long episodes. Based on Rob Temple’s Twitter feed of the same name, the program will once again show well-known British celebrities providing their own unique takes on everyday phenomena that characterize “Britishness.”

The first season aired on Channel 4 this summer.

“Alaska did a brilliant job of booking a dream lineup and turning around a thoroughly delightful series that viewers loved in double-quick time, so this is a well-deserved recommission,” said Rich Evans, Channel 4’s commissioning editor for factual entertainment.

Alaska TV co-founder Chris Fouracre added: “It’s brilliant to have been re-commissioned by the channel so soon after transmission of season one. It’s a real treat to discover how universally bonkers we [are] through the experiences of such a funny lineup of amazing British talent. Most of them are coming back for the new season, plus some genuinely great new names.”
