Celeb-Focused Docuseries Hollywood 911 Heads to REELZ this Summer

ALBUQUERQUE: REELZ has lined up the all-new docuseries Hollywood 911, as well as two returning original series for its summer schedule.

Hollywood 911 will premiere Saturday, June 11, at 10 p.m. The series offers a first-person account of celebrities’ most dangerous and outrageous moments as heard through 911 emergency calls. It features actual 911 calls placed by stars such as Sandra Bullock, Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber. Hollywood 911 is produced by Conveyor Media.

Among the series returning to REELZ is Murder Made Me Famous. All-new episodes will begin Saturday, July 23, at 9 p.m. The show puts a spotlight on murderers who gained public notoriety when their crimes sparked intense media coverage. New episodes will cover Charles Manson, Steven Avery, Jean Harris, Billionaire Boys Club killer Joseph Gamsky (a.k.a. “Joe Hunt”) and Robert Chambers, who is also known as the “Preppie Killer.” The show is produced by AMS Pictures.

Following the premiere of the new episodes of Murder Made Me Famous, the documentary series CopyCat Killers returns to REELZ at 10 p.m. on July 23. The brand-new episodes of CopyCat Killers go behind the headlines of real-life murders modeled after memorable crimes seen in movies and TV series. New episodes include murder cases copied from the TV series Dexter and films such as Freddy vs. Jason, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Hannibal, Taxi Driver, Saw and Queen of the Damned. CopyCat Killers includes interviews with investigators, family members of victims and forensic experts. The show is produced by Story House Productions.
