Bunim/Murray Productions (BMP) has made three promotions within its senior team under new president Julie Pizzi.

John Greco has been appointed as the studio’s new chief operating officer. Formerly executive VP of production, Greco joined BMP in 2008 and has overseen hundreds of hours of programming. Notable series include several seasons of the popular MTV franchises The Real World and The Challenge and, most recently, The Real World Homecoming: New York for Paramount +.

Rupert Dobson has been named executive VP of development, upped from the senior VP post. He will now oversee all of the studio’s development efforts, including original entertainment formats for broadcast, cable and premium streaming platforms.

Farnaz Farjam has been elevated to executive VP of current programming. Formerly senior VP of entertainment and development at Bunim/Murray, Farjam will now lead the studio’s current programming efforts. Farjam currently oversees such series as Sway Life and the final season of Keeping Up with Kardashians.

“Bunim-Murray has always housed incredible producer talent and we wanted to elevate people from within our team that have contributed immeasurably to our success,” said Pizzi. “Rupert is a creative force of nature and Farnaz is a gifted storyteller—together they will oversee our creative team and shepherd our projects from development through delivery. And John Greco has helmed our production management team for over a decade and has the experience and expertise to excel in this new role.”
