Brown Bob Opens Cardiff Base

London-based independent factual production company Brown Bob, founded by Jacqueline Hewer and Nicki Gottlieb, has opened up a new base, Brown Bob Cymru, located in Cardiff.

Hewer and Gottlieb aim to contribute to the Welsh production sector by working with key broadcasters, including BBC Wales and S4C, and talent in the region. Brown Bob Cymru already has 30 hours of content in production.

The Welsh creative industry currently generates £1.7 billion turnover in the nation, a 14 percent growth over five years, and employs more than 35,000 people.

“We are very excited about the opening of Brown Bob Cymru, our latest base, in Cardiff,” Hewer and Gottlieb said. “Wales is an incredible country, and we are very much looking forward to being part of the production community and creating content that reflects and celebrates Welsh pride and passion.”
