Box To Box Films Taps Tom Hutchings

Box To Box Films has expanded its team with the hiring of Tom Hutchings in an executive producer role.

Hutchings, who served as a series producer and then as an executive producer and format consultant at Shine TV for eight years, is the first major hire for the company since Bruin Capital’s significant minority investment earlier this year. At Shine TV, he earned credits for Hunted, Finding Michael and Bear Grylls Meets President Zelenskyy, among others.

Prior to that, Hutchings worked at Studio Lambert as a producer director, developing the first series of Gogglebox. He also gained experience at Raw, working on Gold Rush.

In his new role as an executive producer at Box To Box, Hutchings will work closely with the senior team, including co-founders James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin, to executive produce one of Box To Box Films’ most successful properties as his first project.

“Tom brings a fantastic new skill set to Box To Box, which will enhance the executive team as we look to grow the company,” Gay-Rees said. “We know that our most important shows will be in great hands with Tom at the helm.”
