Blue Ant Studios Acquires The Eunuch Maker

Blue Ant Studios has picked up the worldwide distribution rights, excluding the U.K., to The Eunuch Maker, which it will bring to MIPCOM.

Hosted by journalist and author Marcel Theroux, the two-part doc explores the 2022 headline-making story in which a group of men, led by someone called “Eunuch Maker,” were found to be performing castrations and live-streaming them to paying customers. Through access to men who underwent castration and those at the heart of the group, Theroux sets out to determine why the Eunuch Maker mutilated others and why there is a global community voluntarily seeking castration.

An unhosted 60-minute version of the documentary is also available to buyers.

The Eunuch Maker is produced by Future Studios and Krempelwood for Hearst Networks EMEA. It is set to launch on Hearst Networks later this year.
