Blink Films Readies X-Ray Earth for Nat Geo

Blink Films is making the three-part docuseries X-Ray Earth for National Geographic channels around the world.

X-Ray Earth will take viewers to some of Earth’s most astonishing locations as it follows the fieldwork of top geologists. It will also feature the latest scientific data from thousands of sensors across the globe and state of the art surface scans, using cutting-edge graphics technology to x-ray the deep interior of the planet and reveal the dangers within. The series is airing across National Geographic channels globally, including in the U.S. and U.K., this spring and summer.

Dan Chambers and Justine Kershaw, joint creative directors of Blink Films, said: “Earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions are all driven by hidden forces and faults deep inside the Earth. The crucial questions for scientists are when will they stir? What will they do? And how will it impact us? X-Ray Earth uses the latest technology and the world’s leading experts to give us the answers.”
