Blink Films Readies Mummy Series for Travel Channel, Channel 5

Blink Films is producing a six-part series that dives into the stories of some of the world’s most famous and enigmatic mummies for Travel Channel in the U.S. and Channel 5 in the U.K.

Titled Mummy Mysteries for Travel Channel and Mummies Unwrapped for Channel 5, the series follows a team of experts from across the world as they use cutting-edge science, historical breakthroughs and modern criminological techniques in a search for the means, motives and opportunities that led to the deaths of six of Ancient Egypt’s most important royals. Each episode of the series concentrates on a single mummy, including the disfigured remains of Tutankhamun’s mother, the so-called “Screaming Mummy” and a potential Pharaoh.
