Bill Nye & Schwarzenegger Tackle Climate Change in Explorer Special

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channel, Bill Nye and Arnold Schwarzenegger are set to take on climate change in the Explorer: Bill Nye’s Global Meltdown special.

Explorer: Bill Nye’s Global Meltdown is slated to premiere on National Geographic Channel on November 1 at 8 p.m. It tackles the subject of climate change, and sees Nye suffering from “climate change grief.” Schwarzenegger portrays Nye’s climate change therapist, as the “Science Guy” experiences the various manifestations of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance that represent not only the clinical stages of grief, but also the emotions people exhibit when faced with the realities of climate change.
