BBC Studios Expands Offering in Japan

BBC Studios has struck deals with Disney, NHK and Warner Bros. Discovery to bolster its content offering for audiences across Japan.

The new lineup for Animal Planet includes Secrets of the Jurassic Dinosaurs, exploring a dinosaur graveyard in Wyoming; A Perfect Planet, featuring David Attenborough; Attenborough and the Jurassic Sea Monster, which is also set to air on NHK; and Dinosaur Apocalypse, filmed in South Dakota.

Season 13 of The Great British Bake Off will debut in Japan on Dlife, along with Junior Bake Off seasons three and four. Hey Duggee season four will air on Disney Junior.

Disney audiences will also have access to the first season of Hey Duggee, season 14 of The Great British Bake Off and more.
