all3media International Places 180 Hours in CEE

LONDON: all3media International has licensed more than 180 hours of factual and factual-entertainment programming to broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including a number of shows hosted by gardening expert Monty Don.

In Russia, First HDTV picked up a package of titles for its Eureka and Outdoor TV channels. The deal includes the first two seasons of North One Television’s Speed with Guy Martin and the third season of Gadget Man. First HDTV also went for BBC Worldwide’s Around the World in 80 Gardens; Lion Television’s Monty Don’s French Gardens, Monty Don’s Italian Gardens, Big Dreams, Small Spaces and Kew on a Plate; the second season of Spun Gold TV’s Love Your Garden; and BBC’s The Private Life of Cows, Pigs and Chickens.

Additional titles headed to Russia include Lion Television’s series The Story of Egypt as well as the specials China: Treasures of the Jade Empire and Pompeii: Life Before Death following an agreement with Kultura.

Over in Poland, Fokus TV took the sixth and seventh seasons of the CBS reality show Undercover Boss USA, produced by all3media America. TVN Poland acquired factual-entertainment titles for its TVN Style and TTV channels, including Optomen Television’s Will My Crash Diet Kill Me?, Studio Lambert’s Travel Guides, Little Dot’s Rise of the Superstar Vloggers and Studio Lambert’s Britain’s Weirdest Council Houses. The broadcaster also snapped up the third season of One Potato, Two Potato’s Hotel Hell and the second season of Objective Productions’s Bad Robots.

Croatia’s HRT licensed the first three seasons of The Great Interior Design Challenge, a Studio Lambert production for BBC Two. HRT also went for seasons two through five of Love Your Garden and the second season of North One Television’s Travel Man: 48 Hours In…. The first season of Love Your Garden and Lion Television’s The Secret History of the British Garden have been picked up by Estonian Public Broadcasting.
