Alan Titchmarsh to Front New Channel 5 Series

Channel 5 has commissioned Underdog to Super Dog (w.t.), set to be hosted by Alan Titchmarsh (Love Your Garden, Love Your Weekend and Would I Lie to You?), for a four-part series.

The series follows the journeys of all kinds of troubled pups as they undergo training to take on challenges and features the expertise of dog trainers. From MGM Alternative and GroupM Motion Entertainment, the show is set to debut in 2024.

Titchmarsh said: “Dogs have played such an important part in my life, both as a child in Yorkshire with a corgi/cairn and border terrier cross at my heels, to bringing up my family with three yellow Labradors. Their companionship and their resourcefulness are matchless, and I am looking forward hugely to watching the development of the dogs in this series as they prove their worth when given the chance to shine.”
