A Very British Hotel EP Joins Firecracker

Emma Morgan, who recently served as executive producer of the A Very British Hotel (Inside the Mandarin Oriental) series, has been appointed as the new creative director of factual at Firecracker.

Morgan will be responsible for spearheading the development and production of new series and formats as Firecracker continues to grow its brand of popular factual in both the U.K. and the U.S. She will be based in the London office. She has previously held senior creative roles at Oxford Scientific Films, Mentorn Media and Twofour, and is also the deputy chair of the BAFTA TV Committee.

Her other credits include The Fried Chicken Shop, Educating…, Why Men Wear Frocks with Grayson Perry, The F***ing FulfordsHotel of Mum and DadThe Hotel Fixer and Gregg’s: More Than Meets the Pie.

Jes Wilkins, the chief creative officer of Firecracker, said, “Emma is one of the most talented and innovative creatives in the business.
