IM Global Funds Doc on Music Mogul Clive Davis

LOS ANGELES: Independent entertainment studio IM Global will fully finance and handle worldwide sales for the documentary Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives.

The feature-length project will chronicle the life and creative influence of Clive Davis, who as president of Columbia Records played a key role in the careers of such music greats as Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Santana, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson. The documentary will be based on Davis’s 2013 autobiography, with Scott Free Productions’ Michael Bernstein producing and Ridley Scott and Mary Lisio executive producing.

IM Global founder and CEO Stuart Ford and IM Global Music president David Schulhof will also serve as executive producers. WME Global will sell domestic distribution rights to the film.
