Off the Fence & Curiosity in Distribution Pact

Curiosity has entered into a partnership with Off the Fence for the licensing of part of Curiosity Stream’s content portfolio in China, Hong Kong and Macau.

The deal covers 56 titles, amounting to 148 hours of premium factual content. Key titles include Breakthrough (83 episodes), a comprehensive exploration of recent developments in physics, astronomy and other sciences, and the 6×60-minute Connections with James Burke, a modern revival of the landmark series, utilizing CGI and virtual reality to explore the interconnections of knowledge throughout history.

Also part of the package are Bright Now (72 episodes), examining advances in technology, challenging global issues, pivotal historical moments and the individuals driving change; Tracker’s Diary: Bears of Katmai (6×30 min.), following filmmaker Casey Anderson as he embeds himself among the world’s largest terrestrial carnivores in Alaska’s extreme backcountry; Stephen Hawking’s Favorite Places (3×30 min.), a CGI journey through the universe with the legendary physicist; and Titans: The Rise of Hollywood (6×50 min.), a high-budget, fully scripted docudrama series chronicling the battles between future media moguls as they competed for dominance in the nascent motion picture industry.
