Passion Distribution Lines Up Factual for MIPCOM

Passion Distribution has unveiled its MIPCOM lineup, led by several documentaries, returning hits, a brand-new social experiment format and more.

Monsters of the Deep, produced by Mentorn Media and Krempelwood for Channel 5, features renowned explorer and wildlife presenter Steve Backshall. Love My Face, produced by Flabbergast TV for Channel 4, sees people with visible facial differences given the chance to meet with experts who offer help and support.

Virgin Island, produced by Double Act for Channel 4, puts 12 virgins with intimacy anxiety on a luxury island retreat and follows them through a bespoke program created by world-leading sexologists. They experience group therapy and solo exercises to help them overcome their insecurities.

Documentaries set to be brought to the market are The Great Kim Kardashian Robbery (Firecracker Films for BBC Three), Sophie Morgan’s Fight to Fly (Hello Sunshine/Making Space for Channel 4), Dead Calm: Killing in the Med? (BBC Current Affairs for BBC Two) and Being Hijra: India’s Trans Model Agency.

Other titles include factual entertainment series Young Midwives of Essex, The Plymouth Shootings, Paddy & Molly: Show No Mersey, Yorkshire Air 999, Kate (w.t.) and The Incident Room, along with new seasons of returning hits such as Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, The Royals: A History of Scandals and Unreported World.
