Hearst Media Production Group Names VP of Development

Jessica Mathies has been appointed VP of development at Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG), where she will focus on unscripted program development for television stations, broadcast and cable networks and streaming services.

Mathies will also supervise creative production on series pilots as well as the first season of new unscripted series. She previously served as an executive producer, initiating, developing and producing special projects for HMPG’s parent company, Hearst Television.

Mathies joined Hearst Television in 2018 from Park Slope Productions, where she was executive VP of development. Before that, she was the East Coast director of development for Entertainment One (eOne). Prior to her role at eOne, she held various production positions at such companies including Original Media, Metal Flowers Media and Johlt Productions.
