YouTube’s Nadine Zylstra Added to TV Kids Summer Festival

Nadine Zylstra, the head of family, learning and impact at YouTube Originals, has joined the TV Kids Summer Festival lineup.

In her role, Zylstra partners with top YouTube creators and producers to develop hit original series for the platform. Prior to YouTube, Zylstra served as VP of Sesame Street production and programming and supervising producer for Sesame Street. Her body of work has been distinguished by numerous awards, including a Peabody Award and Webby Award for her work with Sesamestreet.org, numerous Emmy Awards for outstanding directing and producing in a children’s television series, several South African Avanti Awards and the United Nations/NHK/Japan Prize for Courage in Depicting Youth in Difficult Circumstances.

The TV Kids Summer Festival, which is being held from June 7 to 10, will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the children’s content community today. Previously announced speakers include WarnerMedia’s Tom Ascheim, Disney’s Ayo Davis, Mattel’s Ynon Kreiz, Aardman’s Sean Clarke, M6’s Philippe Bony, 9 Story’s Vince Commisso, ZDF’s Nicole Keeb, Rai’s Luca Milano, BBC’s Sarah Muller, PBS’s Linda Simensky, DR’s Niels Lindberg, Total Drama Island creators Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, CAKE’s Ed Galton, Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Cookie Monster.
