Aniorté will sit on the board alongside co-chair J.J. Johnson of Sinking Ship Entertainment; the secretary, Michele Paris of Knowledge Kids and BBC Kids; the treasurer, Vince Commisso of 9 Story Media Group; and directors, Judith Beauregard of Tobo, Athena Georgaklis of Teletoon, Michael Goldsmith of DHX Television, Madeleine Lévesque of Sardine Productions, Ira Levy of Breakthrough Entertainment, Martin Markle of Kids’ CBC, Peter Moss of PDM Entertainment, Jamie Piekarz of Corus Kids, Alexandra Raffé of Thunderbird Films, and Kim Wilson.

In addition to his role at Frima, Aniorté is also a shareholder in companies dedicated to digital content for young audiences and sits on the board of Regroupement des producteurs multimédias. In 2004, he co-founded Tribal Nova, which was sold to the U.S. publishing firm Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2013.

“It’s an honor for me to serve as co-chair of Youth Media Alliance,” Aniorté commented. “I’m proud to continue playing an active role in the organization, focusing on interactive content as an integral part of the Alliance’s commitment to excellence.”
