YMA Unveils Finalists & Launches Prix Coup de cœur du public

The Youth Media Alliance (YMA) has revealed the series and interactive productions shortlisted for the Prix Coup de cœur du public.

The public is invited to vote for their favorite production on the YMA website through May 15. The winners will be announced during the 2022 French-Language Awards of Excellence gala, which will be held on May 24 in Salle Jean-Despréz of Radio-Canada.

The Prix Coup de cœur du public is divided into three categories: the Coup de cœur des tout-petits (2 to 5 years old), the Coup de cœur jeunesse (6 to 12 years old) and the Coup de cœur des ados (13 years old and up).

The productions shortlisted in the Prix Coup de cœur des tout-petits (2 to 5 years old) category are: Alix et les Merveilleux (Avanti Groupe/Radio-Canada et Télé-Québec); Les mimistoires (Maki Média / TV5/Unis.TV et TFO); Zoomizoom (Téléfiction/ICI Tou.tv, CBC Gem et Mauril); and the third season of Passe-Partout (Attraction Images/Télé-Québec).

The productions shortlisted in the Prix Coup de cœur jeunesse (6 to 12 years old) category are: the second season of Mini Yoga (Groupe Média TFO/TFO); Math Makers (ULULAB); Question d’actualité (MAJ, l’actualité pour les jeunes/Radio-Canada); and L’effet secondaire (Zone3 Inc./Radio-Canada).

The productions shortlisted in the Prix Coup de cœur des ados (13 years old and up) category are: Lou et Sophie (Les Productions Passez Go Inc./ICI Tou.tv Extra); Six degrés (Encore Télévision/Radio-Canada et Ici Tou.tv); Jenny—Mon avenir (Productions Avenida/TV5/UnisTV); and La soirée MAMMOUTH 2021  (Attraction Images et Pamplemousse Média/Télé-Québec).
