PARIS: French production company Xilam has made some changes to its sales management team, including giving the recently appointed Marie-Laure Marchand additional responsibilities.

Marchand’s new title is senior VP of global consumer products and media distribution for the Asia Pacific, U.S. and U.K. She joined Xilam as executive VP of global consumer products last month. Prior to that, Marchand handled global licensing acquisitions for Brand Loyalty, and worked for Studio 100, where she created the company’s international consumer products and marketing division and contributed to the global success of Maya the Bee.

Jessica Delahaie has been named Xilam’s executive VP of media distribution for EMEA and Canada. She is charged with sales in the German and Dutch/Flemish-speaking countries, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Canada. She most recently oversaw sales in CEE and the AsiaPac region at Mediatoon Distribution.

Leyla Formoso has become VP of media distribution for Latin America and Iberia. She is responsible for developing TV sales in all Spanish and Portuguese-speaking territories, including the Hispanic community in the U.S. She previously managed sales at Nelvana in South America, Spain and Portugal before creating her own production and distribution company, which she operated in South America for the past decade.

Giulia Fittante, who has been administrating sales for Xilam over the last four years, has been elevated to the role of sales manager. In addition to her administration duties, she has gained oversight of TV sales in Switzerland and French-speaking Belgium, Israel, TV5MONDE and in-flight broadcasting.

All of these new appointments are effective immediately. These execs will work under Marc du Pontavice, Xilam’s founder and president.
