Xilam Animation Scores New Broadcast Deals for Oggy Oggy

Xilam Animation has secured a range of new broadcasters for its hit preschool comedy Oggy Oggy in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The new broadcast partners include Clan/RTVE (Spain), RTS (French-speaking Switzerland), Hop! (Israel), Sony YAY! (India), Daekyo TV (South Korea) and E-Junior (United Arab Emirates). These add to Oggy Oggy’s previously announced linear broadcasters in the U.K., Germany, Italy and France.

Oggy Oggy is scheduled to launch this month on Channel 5’s Milkshake! (U.K.), Toggolino/RTL Kids (Germany), Frisbee (Italy) and France Télévisions (France).

In consumer products news, Simba Dickie Group is set to begin rolling out its Oggy Oggy master toy range, featuring a colorful collection of plush, figurines, playsets and vehicles, in stores across France, Germany and Italy this fall. Xilam has launched a dedicated Oggy Oggy e-shop featuring Simba’s products and exclusive items across apparel, puzzles and cushions, and the brand will feature at Kidexpo.

Oggy Oggy was created by Xilam Animation’s Jean Cayrol and Cédric Guarneri and is a spin-off from the Oggy and the Cockroaches franchise. It sees a young Oggy freed from the tyranny of the cockroaches, living in a fantasy world inhabited by a community of cats.
