Wild Kratts New Licensing Program Expands Product Range

The PBS Kids series Wild Kratts has activated a licensing program that is set to add products from new and existing partners to expand the show-inspired range.

The new licensing partner C-Life Group is preparing a line of Wild Kratts-branded toddler and children’s apparel for mid-tier and off-price retailers across North America this season. Master publishing partner Random House Children’s Books, meanwhile, is adding to the Wild Kratts book collection both this year and next, releasing Lion Pride! this summer and Wild Dogs and Canines! and Wild Kratts: Big Book of Facts in spring 2020.

PBS Distribution will debut the newest Wild Kratts DVD, the one-hour Halloween special “Creepy Creatures” in August. Further, Pressman will launch a second edition of the Wild Kratts: Race Around the World Game and Topix Media Lab will continue to release new issues of its Wild Kratts magazines every three to four months.

Kratt Brothers Company is set to unveil a new Wild Kratts website later this year that will highlight where to find licensed merchandise at retail and feature direct purchase links, a gift guide tab and an FAQ section as well as activities for kids and parents to do together.

The Wild Kratts series, produced by Kratt Brothers Company and 9 Story Media Group, airs daily on PBS stations as well as on the new PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and livestream. Each half-hour episode features the animated versions of the Kratt Brothers and their friends—equipped with animal-inspired gadgets and Creature Power Suits—on expeditions with wild animals from around the world.

Chris Kratt, creator, producer and co-star of Wild Kratts and co-founder of Kratt Brothers Company, said: “Our great and growing list of Wild Kratts licensing partners are producing products that inspire children to explore the world around them and learn about the fascinating creatures in their own backyard and beyond. We’re so excited to be working with these companies to help encourage the love of animals and nature in our fans.”
