WBA, CNS, HBSE Unveil Upcoming Projects at Annecy

Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), Cartoon Network Studios (CNS) and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe (HBSE) revealed three series greenlights and previewed a slate of projects currently in development during a presentation at Annecy.

Series orders include the preschool animation Foster’s Funtime for Imaginary Friends (HBSE), following a young group of imaginary friends who learn from the immature Bloo; the kids’ series Adventure Time: Side Quests (CNS), taking the Adventure Time franchise back to the early days when Finn was a child; and an as-yet-untitled Regular Show series (CNS).

Projects in development include the two preschool series Adventure Time: Heyo BMO (CNS) and an untitled Barbara Throws a Wobbler project (HBSE).

The kids’ series Go-Go Mystery Machine (WBA) is also in development, along with the family/co-viewing titles the Adventure Time movie (CNS) and Bad Karma (WBA).

The adult long-form animation Lovey Dovey (WBA) is also being prepped.
