WarnerMedia Kids & Family Expands Cartoonito Preschool Slate

WarnerMedia Kids & Family is building out Cartoonito’s preschool slate with the recently greenlit animated series Dylan, as well as three new acquisitions.

Based on the book series by best-selling author and illustrator Guy Parker-Rees, Dylan is a CG animated interactive comedy about a highly imaginative, multi-colored striped dog who is eager to play pretend every career. Dylan is a CBC original series developed by 9 Story Media Group and produced by 9 Story’s Brown Bag Films.

The newly acquired series for Cartoonito are Bing, which features the eponymous lovable, authentic preschooler who lives very much in the present moment; Odo, which follows the smallest bird camper who can do anything he sets his mind to; and Pocoyo, which tells the story of a curious little boy discovering the world around him.

The Cartoonito preschool programming block launches this fall on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
